We are currently looking for a talented and driven SolidWorks / CAD Designer to join our Technical Services team at our Alfreton headquarters. The Purpose of the Role As a CAD Designer, you’ll play a vital part in designing and documenting high-quality mobility products. You’ll develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), create installation/user manuals, and produce 3D models and detailed technical drawings to support our fabrication, installation, and production teams. Key Responsibilities * Design and create 3D models for new product kits using SolidWorks * Develop comprehensive SOPs, work instructions, and user/installation manuals * Maintain documentation to support production, training, and installation teams * Create illustrated parts catalogues for use across all departments * Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and FMEA documentation processes * Liaise cross-functionally with production, quality, and engineering teams * Assist in implementing improvements to streamline manufacturing processes * Collaborate with other departments to efficiently manage technical enquiries * Support a strong H&S and compliance culture through consistent documentation What We’re Looking For You’ll thrive in this role if you’re both technically skilled and people-focused, with a desire to deliver excellent documentation that helps the wider team succeed.
