We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for transporting goods to designated locations in a timely manner. The ideal candidate must have excellent driving skills and good communication abilities. We deliver and install furniture. Some heavy lifting will be required and deliver the white glove service.
Responsibilities:
- Safely drive company vehicle to deliver products to customers with mate as required
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules
- Perform warehouse duties as required
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Install furniture into customer homes
Experience:
- Proven delivery driver experience, preferably within removals or logistics sectors
- Valid clean driver licence
- Experience with commercial driving vehicles such as Luton vans
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous, especially involving heavy lifting tasks
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients
- Organised with a good understanding of route planning and time management skills
This role requires a dedicated individual capable of managing physical tasks while maintaining professionalism on the road. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering high standards of service whilst adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Working hours are Monday to Friday. 40 hours a week. Salary starting from £27,000.
