We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer with a strong background in cryogenics to join our growing team in Acton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in the field and a proven track record in technical sales.
This role is ideal for a mature, self-motivated professional who has worked with leading cryogenic and scientific instrumentation companies such as Oxford Instruments, ICE Oxford, Tesla Engineering (Sussex), or Quantum Design.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive sales of cryogenic and related scientific equipment across the UK and international markets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with academic, research, and industrial clients
- Provide technical support and advice throughout the sales process
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and quotations
- Represent the company at industry events and exhibitions
- Minimum 3 years of experience in technical or sales engineering within the cryogenics or scientific instrumentation sector
- Solid understanding of low-temperature physics and associated technologies
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical solutions to a variety of audiences
- Experience dealing with high-value capital equipment
- Proficiency in preparing sales documentation and CRM management
- UK work authorization and the ability to commute to Acton daily
- Familiarity with superconducting magnets, cryostats, or dilution refrigerators
- Background in Physics, and Mechanical or Electronic/Electrical Engineering
- Experience working in or selling to research institutions or laboratories
