Workshop Production Manager – Permanent Role – £40,000 per annum

Location: Feltham, TW14
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Hours:

  • Monday – Thursday: 07:00 – 17:00
  • Friday: 07:00 – 16:30

Our client, a well-established specialist in primary and secondary steelwork for construction projects, including airport construction, is looking for an experienced Workshop Production Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee workshop operations, fabricators, and the yard area.
  • Manage fabrication packages, order materials, track deliveries, and liaise with purchasing.
  • Coordinate with site managers to ensure efficient fabrication phasing.
  • Ensure all fabrications are dimensionally checked, finished, and transported as required.
  • Organize vehicle loading for nightshift deliveries.
  • Maintain workshop procedures, records, and audit documentation (training provided).
  • Assist with general workshop duties and support a small team of fabricators and a yardman/forklift driver.
  • Review and sign off fabricators’ timesheets.
