We are recruiting for an experienced Cell Leader for the Parachute Packing Team for a well-established Aerospace company in Denham UB9. The ideal candidate will lead a team that delivers precision, quality and safety — where the work you do protects lives.

Our client is looking for a Cell Leader to manage and develop the Parachute Packing team at our Denham site.

Hours: Monday–Thursday 8am–5pm | Early finish Friday at 12pm (37.5 hour per week)

Key Duties:

  • Lead, coach and motivate a team of circa 10 operators within the Parachute Packing cell
  • Drive team performance against KPIs, quality, safety and delivery targets
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of airworthiness, compliance and quality
  • Manage day-to-day resourcing, workload planning and shift coverage
  • Promote and maintain a strong Health & Safety culture, including risk assessments and safe systems of work
  • Support recruitment, induction, training and ongoing development of team members
  • Drive continuous improvement activities such as 5S and process improvements
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders and deputise for the Team Leader when required

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven people management experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Strong leadership, communication and coaching skills
  • Ability to analyse data, monitor KPIs and drive performance improvements
  • Good understanding of health & safety procedures and compliance-driven environments
  • Experience with continuous improvement methods (Lean / 5S desirable)
  • Confident using IT systems (SAP or equivalent) and Microsoft Office
  • Highly organised, proactive and able to prioritise effectively
