We are looking for a skilled Manufacturing Engineer / CNC Programmer to join a highly capable engineering team within a precision aerospace manufacturing environment. This is an opportunity to work with a business known for quality and technical excellence, where you will play a key role in developing CNC programmes, improving processes, and supporting production efficiency.
The Role
- Develop CNC programmes for 3, 4 and 5 axis machining
- Design and implement work holding, jigs, and fixtures
- Create and optimise manufacturing processes for first-time run components
- Own production routing, tooling, gauges, and process configuration
- Select appropriate materials and tooling to meet product specifications
- Ensure projects are delivered within budget and timescale
- Support development of technical documentation and process control
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production
- Research and implement new manufacturing technologies
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in CNC programming (3, 4 and 5 axis)
- Strong background in precision engineering, ideally within aerospace
- Experience designing fixtures, jigs, and work holding solutions
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and production methods
- Ability to manage projects and prioritise workloads effectively
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
