We are recruiting for an Engineering / Commercial Estimator to join a well-established engineering company near Abingdon. This is a great opportunity to join a professional and supportive team where you can take ownership of projects from enquiry through to completion.
What’s on offer:
- Salary £40,000 – £55,000 depending on experience
- Monday – Friday (39 hours per week)

The Role:
- Review customer enquiries and interpret engineering drawings
- Prepare cost estimates and quotations
- Liaise with customers on technical requirements
- Support projects from initial enquiry to order completion
- Work with suppliers and production teams to ensure accurate costing
About You:
- Mechanical or manufacturing engineering background
- Experience with estimating, quotations or proposals
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Experience within machining or manufacturing is advantageous
