We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Service Engineer to join a specialist engineering service team based in Ealing - West London. This well-established engineering organisation is a recognised leader in the design, supply, and maintenance of advanced rail infrastructure machinery, supporting major rail networks across the UK and internationally.

The Role
As an Electrical Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing service, repair, and commissioning support on specialist machinery and equipment. You will ensure all customer requirements are met with a professional, efficient, and safety-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out repairs, fault finding, and modifications to machinery and equipment
- Commission new, modified, and repaired equipment
- Provide remote technical support and attend customer sites as required
- Complete accurate service reports and documentation
- Work independently and collaboratively within a skilled engineering team
- Travel extensively across the UK and internationally when required
- Participate in an on-call rota to support out-of-hours requirements
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Service Engineer or similar role (minimum 3 years)
- Strong background in electrical/electronic systems, with knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship
- Full, clean manual driving licence
- Flexible, professional, and reliable approach
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Engineering or Electrical discipline
- Experience servicing heavy plant or specialist machinery
- Strong electronics knowledge and computer literacy
- Personal Track Safety (PTS) certification (or willingness to obtain)
