We’re recruiting for a Masking & Finishing Operative based in Denham (UB9) — you’ll play a vital role in producing precision aerospace components used in life-saving technology. If you’re hands‑on, quality‑focused and ready to grow your career, this is the role for you. Ideal for candidates with finishing, paint prep, surface treatment, or aerospace manufacturing experience.
Key Duties:
- You’ll join a specialist finishing team ensuring every component meets world‑class standards.
- Daily tasks include:
- Masking and unmasking components and assemblies for paint spraying
- Inspecting components to quality standards and carrying out self‑inspection where authorised
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and job cards
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and housekeeping standards
- Working safely at all times in line with H&S and COSHH requirements
Requirements:
- Manufacturing or engineering background
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Experience with finishing, surface preparation, or similar shop‑floor processes
- Understanding of quality and health & safety procedures
