We are recruiting for experienced Assembly Operatives for the Aerospace Industry. Join our team as an assembly operative within the Assembly Department, where your work directly contributes to life‑saving technology. As an assembly operative, you’ll play a vital role in manufacturing aircraft safety systems.

We do not offer sponsorship, and it would be to your advantage if you have your own transport due to where the factory is based – Denham – Buckinghamshire.

Key responsibilities:

  • Using hand tools such as files, hacksaws, and spanners
  • Working with measuring equipment including calipers and digital gauges
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and build plans
  • Carrying out inspections to strict quality standards
  • Completing assembly processes in line with SOPs and schedules
  • Monitoring tools and equipment to ensure they are fit for purpose
  • Supporting continuous improvement and lean initiatives

Requirements:

  • Experience using hand tools and measuring equipment
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Basic manufacturing or engineering background
  • Understanding of H&S and COSHH regulations
  • Must have a stable 5-year career history
  • Understanding of using measuring equipment such as calipers and digital measuring equipment to make any adjustments necessary
  • Experience with pipe bending, riveting, or adhesives
  • SAP knowledge
  • Mechanical apprenticeship
