About the Role
We are seeking two experienced Access Control Engineers to join our professional high-security project and maintenance team across London and Southern Regions. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a high-profile environment where security and precision are paramount. Engineers must be skilled in the installation, maintenance, and integration of access control systems, ensuring compliance with strict airport security protocols.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Access Control Engineer.
- Experience working in airports or high-security environments (MOD / Datacentres etc) is essential.
- Must hold a valid CSCS card.
- Certifications such as IPAF, PASMA, and Confined Space Certification are advantageous.
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Physically fit and able to pass medicals for Working at Height / Airside Driving requirements.
- Must pass security checks / DBS clearance as part of pre-screening.
- Experience with CCTV & Intruder Systems as well as Data Cabling installations (preferred)
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and maintenance of Access Control ID swipe systems within UK Airports.
- Professional installation of SALTO Locks, integrated with centralised control systems for access control.
- Installation of security hardware, including:
- Mag Locks (Example )
- Push to Exit Buttons (Example )
- Door Closers (Example )
- Running metal conduit for cabling (experience with cutting, bending, and installing metal piping is essential)
