Mobile People Powered Logistics is a multi-award winning road transport company based in Haddenham and Birmingham. We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team at Mobile People Powered Logistics in Haddenham, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom. As a vital member of the logistics and transport industry, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods throughout the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently from Haddenham to Birmingham and return
  • Transport goods from our Pallet hub to our depot (18 hrs – 4 am)
  • Adhere to all relevant regulations and legislation
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections
  • Ensure the vehicle is kept in good condition and report any defects
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers

Required Qualifications:

  • HGV Class 1 licence
  • CPC qualification
  • Tacho card
  • Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road safety regulations
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Benefits:

  • 28 days paid holiday incl. Statutory Days
  • 50 hrs basic including breaks then overtime rate applies
  • Guaranteed minimum of pay of 46.25 hours per week @ 17.88 per hour / Overtime 18.88 per hour
