We are looking for a Graduate Operations Officer to support our Birmingham, Castle Vale based team. This role will give you key experience within logistical operation with great opportunity to grow in the role as we expand.
Permanent role £26,500 - £28,500 (based on experience)
28-day holiday including bank holidays
Office-based
Working times: 6am - 3pm and 1pm - 10pm (shift rotation, based on business need)
Responsibilities:
- Monitor fleet activity to ensure ETAs are met, drivers’ hours and breaks remain compliant, and all relevant departments are kept informed.
- Carry out daily driver pre-briefs and de-briefs, using telematics to monitor driving standards and identify any training requirements.
- Ensure consignments are correctly managed, with accurate status tracking and updates maintained throughout the day.
- Support Customer Services by handling internal and external queries in a prompt and professional manner.
- Complete thorough handovers to the next shift to ensure continuity of service.
Qualifications:
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Confident communicator, able to brief/de-brief drivers and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactive problem solver with a focus on safety, service and efficiency.
- Ability to be open to learning.
