Mobile People Powered Logistics is a multi-award winning road transport company based in Haddenham and Birmingham. We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team in Haddenham, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom. As a vital member of the logistics and transport industry, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods throughout the region.
Responsibilities:
- Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently from Haddenham to Birmingham and return
- Transport goods from our Pallet hub to our depot (18 hrs – 4 am)
- Adhere to all relevant regulations and legislation
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections
- Ensure the vehicle is kept in good condition and report any defects
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
Required Qualifications:
- HGV Class 1 licence
- CPC qualification
- Tacho card
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road safety regulations
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Benefits:
- 28 days paid holiday incl. Statutory Days
- 50 hrs basic including breaks then overtime rate applies
- Guaranteed minimum of pay of 46.25 hours per week @ 17.88 per hour / Overtime 18.88 per hour
- Full uniform provided after probationary period
