We are looking for a qualified Bookkeeper to work alongside the Financial Controller within the Accounts Department. Main responsibilities will include managing the Sales Ledger, Credit Control, Payroll Administration, Cost Allocation, Bank Reconciliations, and providing day-to-day support to the Finance Department.
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous bookkeeping and finance administration experience
- AAT qualification (Level 3 or above preferred)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Experience with payroll administration
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
- Good communication skills and ability to work within a small team environment
- Experience with systems such as Dext, Deputy, or Current RMS would be advantageous
- Understanding of purchase order processes, supplier reconciliations, and credit control procedures
This role would suit someone hands-on, organised, and proactive, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and supporting various areas of the finance function. The position is based on a 4-day working week. Following completion of the training period, hybrid working can be offered. Competitive Salary offered dependant on experience and qualification.
