Deliver change. Drive transformation. Enable MBNL’s evolution to an Infrastructure Manager. The Transformation Programme Manager plays a key role within MBNL’s central programme delivery model, supporting the delivery of strategic transformation initiatives that enable MBNL to evolve into an Infrastructure Management company. Working across MBNL, shareholders, and suppliers, the role ensures that complex change programmes are delivered to time, cost, and quality while maintaining a strong focus on business outcomes and customer experience.

Acting on behalf of programme sponsors, the role combines programme leadership, change management, and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful delivery and adoption of transformation outcomes.

This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days per week in our Central Reading office.

What you’ll be here to do:

  • Lead and support the delivery of transformation programmes, ensuring alignment to strategic goals and effective execution by delivering programme outcomes to agreed objectives and performance targets;
  • Establish governance, assurance, and reporting frameworks;
  • Manage programme plans, milestones, risks, issues, and interdependencies;
  • Support the design and implementation of new operating models, business processes, and organisational change;
  • Work with Communication and Finance teams to shape programme narrative and business case development;
  • Manage programme budgets including forecasting, cost control, and value delivery;
  • Chair governance forums, ensuring clear, timely communication to stakeholders;
  • Act as the day-to-day representative of the Senior Responsible Owner;
  • Ensure programme coherence, quality, and integrity from initiation through to closure;
  • Drive continuous improvement in programme management and transformation capability;
  • Manage suppliers and partners to ensure delivery against performance and contractual obligations;
  • Coaching and support leaders and teams to adopt new ways of working and embed change effectively.

Who we’re looking for: You’re an experienced programme and transformation professional with strong leadership, stakeholder management, and delivery capability. You’re comfortable operating in complex environments, influencing senior stakeholders, and driving outcomes across multiple workstreams and organisations.

You’ll bring:

  • Demonstrable experience delivering complex programmes and transformation initiatives;
  • Strong change management and organisational design experience;
  • The ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders across business and shareholder environments;
  • Experience resolving conflict and managing competing priorities;
  • Strong governance, planning, and risk management capability;
  • Experience working with and influencing senior leadership teams.
