Shape meaningful change across MBNL, drive organisation‐wide adoption, and help enable Digital Britain. The Change Manager is a pivotal role within MBNL's Change Management Centre of Excellence, reporting to the Head of Change Management. Sitting at the heart of MBNL's People, Programmes & Change directorate, this role ensures that our mission "Managing the Mobile Infrastructure to Enable Digital Britain" is realised through meaningful, well‐embedded change that delivers real business value.

You'll act as both a hands‐on change leader and a contributor to our evolving enterprise change capability bridging the gap between programme delivery and operational adoption to ensure that transformation lands smoothly, sustainably, and consistently across the organisation.

Why this role matters

As MBNL continues to mature as a best‐in‐class infrastructure management organisation, the ability to deliver change at scale and embed it effectively is critical. This role ensures that transformation is not just delivered, but adopted, understood, and sustained across people, processes, technology, and operations. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days per week in our Central Reading office.

What you'll be here to do

You'll lead change delivery for key programmes while helping to build a consistent, scalable change management capability across MBNL. You'll:

  • Lead end‐to‐end change management for assigned programmes and projects, ensuring smooth transition from current to future state
  • Conduct Change Impact Assessments to identify impacts across people, process, technology, structure, and data
  • Develop and execute integrated Business Readiness Plans covering communications, training, process, IT, and operational readiness
  • Drive transition planning and go‐live support, ensuring continuity of service and minimal disruption
  • Lead adoption and embedding activities to ensure new ways of working are sustained and benefits realised
  • Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of MBNL's change framework, methodologies, and standards
  • Develop and embed common toolkits and templates (e.g., stakeholder mapping, readiness assessments, CIAs)
  • Support the evolution of MBNL's enterprise change approach, aligned to our transformation goals

Who we're looking for

You're an experienced change practitioner who can operate confidently across complex programmes and multiple concurrent initiatives. You combine structured methodology with practical delivery, and you're able to translate complexity into clear, actionable change interventions. You'll bring:

  • Proven experience delivering change within large‐scale transformation or programme environments
  • Ability to operate across multiple concurrent change initiatives
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills at senior and operational levels
  • Experience with structured change methodologies such as Prosci / ADKAR
  • Strong analytical capability to define and track readiness, transition, and adoption metrics
  • Ability to turn programme detail into meaningful, people‐centred change activity

If you also have the following, we'd love to hear from you:

  • A professional qualification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, APMG)
  • Experience contributing to or building a Change Management Centre of Excellence
  • Background in telecoms, infrastructure, or other complex operational environments

You'll influence how change is understood and adopted across the business, strengthening capability and supporting MBNL's evolution.
