Deliver change. Drive outcomes. Enable MBNL's infrastructure transformation. The Project Manager plays a key role in delivering projects that support MBNL's transformation into an Infrastructure Management Company. Sitting within the People, Programmes & Change directorate, this role is part of the Portfolio Management Group (PMG) Centre of Excellence, working closely with business teams to deliver new services across MBNL's infrastructure estate.
You'll be accountable for end to end project delivery—ensuring projects are delivered to time, cost, and quality, while maximising value for MBNL's shareholders.
Why this role matters: MBNL's ability to manage, maintain, and enhance the UK's best mobile network depends on disciplined, customer centric project delivery. This role ensures that complex initiatives are planned, governed, and delivered consistently supporting strategic change while protecting delivery outcomes. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days per week based in our Central Reading office.
What you'll be here to do:
- Be accountable for delivering projects to agreed time, cost, and quality targets
- Establish and manage projects in line with shareholder requirements and MBNL governance
- Plan, monitor, and report on progress, risks, issues, and interdependencies
- Proactively manage budgets, forecasting, and spend against benefits
- Maintain project coherence, quality, and integrity from initiation to closure
- Drive corrective action and recovery where delivery is at risk
- Support the PMG by adhering to portfolio standards, policies, and templates
Who we're looking for: You're a delivery focused project manager with strong planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement skills. You're comfortable driving delivery in complex environments and ensuring business adoption of change.
You’ll have:
- Proven experience delivering business projects from concept through to implementation
- Strong scheduling, risk management, and delivery to plan capability
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
