The Technology Enhancement Team at MBNL plays a central role in driving technological innovation and operational excellence across the organisation. The team ensures that critical systems continue to evolve and integrate effectively, supporting the delivery of reliable, high-performing network services.
Why this role matters: This role is pivotal in ensuring that MBNL’s technology enhancement programmes deliver real impact. By overseeing system improvements, coordinating suppliers, and managing complex stakeholder relationships, this role ensures that critical technology capabilities evolve seamlessly and reliably. This is more than programme management—it’s about enabling operational excellence, supporting business transformation, and strengthening the networks that underpin our services. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days per week in our Central Reading office.
What you’ll be here to do:
- Programme Delivery Leadership: Management of enhancements through all programme increments from 2026 onwards. Manage milestones, critical path and RAID, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Delivery Oversight: Oversee and support delivery for the Enhance programme, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Proactively address risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure programme success.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Governance: Run programme governance and engagement across all technology suppliers and customer parties. Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment, communication, and commitment to programme goals. Challenge the status quo by identifying opportunities for efficiency, scalability, and innovation. Use market insights to drive continuous improvement across programme elements. Act as a role model for MBNL values, promoting collaboration and excellence. Coach and support virtual teams to deliver high-performance outcomes.
Who we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in programme management within technology or digital transformation environments.
- A strong track record of delivering programmes and projects that enable software innovation and meaningful technology transformation.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex multi-party relationships.
- Expertise in governance frameworks and programme delivery models.
- Track record of leading large-scale programmes with measurable outcomes.
