As the joint venture between EE and Three, two of the UK’s most recognised and innovative mobile operators, we sit at the heart of telecommunications excellence. We’re now seeking an exceptional Acquisition Manager to join our dynamic Property Team and spearhead the charge in ensuring strategic and operational excellence across acquisition programmes. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days per week based in our Central Reading office.
The Role
As Acquisition Manager, you’ll play a central role in translating our vision into action. Reporting to the Head of Acquisition Services, you’ll be responsible for managing a team that delivers infrastructure acquisition activities—ensuring that projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will also cultivate a high-performance culture, managing key suppliers, improving processes, and delivering sustainable cost savings—while always maintaining a laser focus on customers, execution, and people.
What You will do
- Own and deliver end-to-end acquisition projects including replacements, relocations, upgrades, and decommissions.
- Lead and manage supplier performance and third-party contracts, driving accountability and recovery plans.
- Oversee financial performance across CapEx and OpEx, identifying savings and forecasting effectively.
- Build a thriving team culture through recruitment, coaching, performance management, and engagement.
- Be a key influencer across the business—setting SLAs, sharing feedback, and challenging the status quo.
- Serve as a trusted service provider, continuously improving how we meet internal and external customer needs.
What we are looking for
- An experienced Manager with natural leadership skills and a passion for people development and team excellence.
- Proven experience in acquisition delivery within the telecoms or infrastructure space.
- Strong knowledge of ECC legislation, T&C Planning, and wayleave management.
- Deep understanding of RAN and infrastructure deployment processes.
- Confidence in holding suppliers accountable and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Superb planning, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
- A proactive mindset with an eye for compliance, continuous improvement, and innovation.
