Hybrid Home, Office, UK travel. Mobexx is a supplier of specialist computer products for use in extreme conditions and is the principal UK partner for manufacturers of our core product lines. We partner with a small number of world-class manufacturers to supply the best products. This role will focus primarily on our range of ultra rugged truck mount PCs from JLT Mobile Computers, who are the world’s leading supplier into sectors such as ports.
Job Summary
We’re looking for a driven, ambitious Field Sales Specialist to take ownership of business development selling our rugged computers primarily into ports, manufacturing, warehousing, logistics and distribution. You’ll be leading development of business direct to end users and through strategic partnerships with software vendors, integrators and resellers. This is an important role for someone hungry to grow quickly, hit ambitious targets, and accelerate their career in Mobexx.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies primarily targeting Ports, Warehousing, Logistics and Manufacturing.
- Drive the full sales cycle to initial sale and ongoing account development.
- Work closely with our internal team to identify new business opportunities and effectively target them.
- Develop and deliver compelling business cases to potential customers.
- Build relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders in target industries.
- Track market trends and competitor activity to refine go-to-market approaches.
We’re Looking For
- 3-5 years’ experience in sales and business development in rugged computing or associated sectors, preferably experience selling into Ports, Warehousing, Logistics and Manufacturing both direct and with partners.
- Demonstrated success in reaching or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong network in the relevant industries and a track record of securing strategic partnerships.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset.
- A resilient and tenacious approach; robust organisational skills and a total focus on achieving your targets and growing our business.
