The WordPress Website Delivery Manager is responsible for delivering WordPress website projects from initial scoping through to launch and ongoing support. The role combines project management, handsâon WordPress (lowâcode) assembly, content coordination, and client and stakeholder communication, ensuring every website is delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard.
The role reflects Mobas' WordPress-first, lowâcode delivery approach, working closely with our creative teams, Client Services, and trusted external development partners.
Ideal Candidate Profile
This role is ideal for handsâon digital marketers or digital project managers with experience using WordPress or lowâcode platforms who enjoy managing the full website delivery lifecycle. It is also suited to WordPress developers who enjoy CMS configuration and frontâend refinement but want to expand into a more clientâfacing, deliveryâled role without deep technical development responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Project & Delivery Management
- Act as the dayâtoâday lead for multiple website projects.
- Create and manage project plans, timelines, schedules, and risk logs.
- Work closely with Client Services to estimate, schedule, and scope work.
- Keep internal teams (design, UX, content, digital) aligned and progressing.
- Manage client communication, approvals, and expectation setting.
- Coordinate with external partners for technical work beyond lowâcode delivery.
- Scoping & Requirements Gathering
- Support or lead workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions.
- Produce sitemaps, page inventories, user flows, and lowâfidelity wireframes.
- Work with designers to evolve UX outputs into final UI layouts.
- WordPress Build & FrontâEnd Assembly
- Build website pages using WordPress and lowâcode tools (experience with Elementor or similar builders is highly advantageous but not essential).
- Configure WordPress settings, navigation, plugins, forms, and templates.
- Create reusable components and manage global style systems.
- Ensure responsive behaviour, accessibility, and design consistency.
- Content Coordination & Population
- Support content population and content migration.
- Optimise imagery, media and formatting for performance and usability.
- Implement onâpage SEO fundamentals â metadata, alt text, headings, internal linking.
- Testing, QA & Launch
- Implement redirects, metadata, sitemaps and other SEO basics.
- Coordinate DNS changes and launch with internal and external hosting partners.
- Complete postâlaunch checks and provide handover documentation.
- Support & Incident Handling
- Work with Client Services to triage website support tickets.
- Resolve support requests within lowâcode or frontâend capability.
- Escalate or coordinate with external partners for more technical requirements.
- Maintain clear documentation and ticket communication.
- Website Monitoring & Maintenance
- Monitor site health, updates, uptime and plugin status.
- Liaise with hosting providers when needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation, logins, update notes and access records.
Experience & Skills Required
- Experience delivering website projects in an agency or digital environment.
- Strong practical understanding of WordPress as a CMS.
- Confident project management skills (planning, scheduling, documentation).
- Ability to create sitemaps, wireframes, user flows and scoping documents.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Highly Advantageous
- Experience with Elementor or other WordPress lowâcode builders.
- Understanding of SEO fundamentals and analytics tools.
- Ability to interpret UI design files (e.g., Figma).
- Experience coordinating external development or hosting partners.
