Job Role:
- Work closely with the Year 1 teacher to deliver lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to help pupils reach their learning goals.
- Assist with classroom organization, preparation of resources, and ensuring a smooth learning experience.
- Foster positive relationships with pupils, encouraging confidence and engagement.
- Monitor and support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development.
- Uphold the school's safeguarding and health and safety policies at all times.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in a UK school, ideally in a primary school setting.
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum and Key Stage 1 (KS1).
- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive and proactive attitude towards supporting children's education.
Benefits:
- £85.02 to £98.41 a day, which equates to £16,578.90 to £19,189.95 per annum based on working five days a week for a full school year.
