We are looking for an exceptional Reception Teacher to join a Good-rated, 1-form entry, Primary School in Woodgate Valley. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment delivering pre-planned lessons to a reception class. Perfect for a qualified Primary Teacher, this is a long-term, part-time position (Fridays only) for the full spring term, starting in January and continuing until Easter. As a Reception Teacher, you will:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons to a Reception class on Fridays.
- Take full class responsibilities, including planning and marking.
- Create a stimulating Early Years (EYFS) environment.
- Ensure excellent behaviour management in the classroom.
- Work collaboratively with school staff to meet the needs of pupils.
- Commit to the full spring term on a part-time basis.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching Early Years (EYFS), ideally in Reception.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Familiarity with delivering pre-planned lessons.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
