It saves you money. We will achieve this by building the ultimate app for home cooking. Making weekly cooking fun, easy and delicious. It will take the friction away from home cooking, so anyone can become an accomplished home cook. It took us 24 months to reach 100k subscribers - and just seven months to double that to 200k. Our next goal: scale to over 1 million users by the end of 2027. Behind it all is a creative, data-driven team that collaborates to build experiences that ladder up to our mission. As a fast-paced startup, our core value is simple: make it happen, succeed together.
We're looking for a Project Lead to own the entire project management function at Mob across the Commercial Team. You'll be the strategic partner to brands, the guardian of delivery excellence, and responsible for flawless execution of our branded partnerships (typically 8-10 high-quality brand campaigns per year). This is Mob's most senior delivery role. You'll be responsible for this function, managing workload & bringing on freelancer support as needed, collaborating with our paid social, content, sales, and production teams to deliver exceptional client experiences. Please note that this role is Fixed-term for 12 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of partnership campaigns from kick-off to Post Campaign Analysis, ensuring everything is delivered on time, on budget, and to exceptionally high standards.
- Own client relationships as the principal contact, building trust through proactive communication and meticulous attention to detail.
- Manage paid social strategy for every campaign, acting as the direct contact between Mob and our paid media agency.
- Collaborate with Mob’s production, sales, food & content teams to produce best-in-class work.
- Work within Mob's project management processes and systems, whilst also identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions.
- Build commercial and paid media capability across the team through knowledge sharing and upskilling.
- Be responsible for building & owning project timelines & maintaining accurate documentation for internal and external work.
- Lead on all internal and external reporting regarding campaign performance. Regularly update our benchmarking data & push the team to constantly improve, learning from past results.
What does success look like in this role?
- Zero client-facing errors or delivery issues - campaigns run seamlessly with no communication gaps, missed deadlines, or quality concerns.
- Clients actively choose to work with Mob again based on the exceptional experience you've delivered.
- Content produced that is high-performing on social, aligns with the client’s brief & adheres to Mob’s brand guidelines.
What You’ll Bring
You're an experienced project manager or client services professional who thrives on ownership and precision. You've managed complex, multi-stakeholder projects independently and understand what it takes to be a one-person function. You're not fazed by wearing multiple hats - you're energised by it.
Our Must Haves
- Proven experience managing end-to-end branded content projects on social media with excellent client management skills.
- Deep understanding of paid media and social metrics.
- Exceptional organisational skills with relentless attention to detail.
- Track record of managing freelancers or external resources with strong onboarding and process documentation skills.
- Commercial acumen - you understand how to serve both client and business objectives simultaneously.
- Proactive problem-solver who brings solutions, not just issues - you anticipate challenges and drive decisions independently.
- Excellent presentation & deck-building skills.
It's a Bonus if You Have
- Experience working in a startup or small team environment where you've built or owned a function.
- Background in social-first brands or creator economy.
You'll thrive in this role if...
- Are self-sufficient and comfortable being the sole owner of a function - you don't need hand-holding or constant direction.
- Can influence others across the organisation to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards and on time.
- Excel at client communication - you can enthuse clients on wins and diffuse challenging situations with confidence and ease.
- Genuinely care about excellence - zero tolerance for errors or dropped balls.
- Don't wait to be told what to do; ask questions, find answers and make things happen.
