Moat House Care Home in Burbage, Leicestershire are recruiting a Senior Care Assistant to join our friendly team on a full-time, permanent basis, offering a competitive salary of up to £14.46 per hour. Part of the family-run Adept Care Homes group, Moat House is a quality residential home in Burbage conservation area, offering award-winning, luxury and high-quality care.

Pay & Hours

  • £14.46 per hour
  • 33–44 hours per week (overtime available)
  • Day shifts: 07:00 – 19:00 (alternate weekends)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding care in line with residents' care plans
  • Supervise and support care staff, promoting excellence and teamwork
  • Administer medication safely and maintain accurate records
  • Monitor residents' wellbeing and liaise with families and healthcare professionals
  • Maintain confidentiality, uphold dignity, and ensure a safe environment

Qualifications

  • Previous senior care experience (care home experience preferred)
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (Level 3 desirable)
  • Confident in leading a team and administering medication
  • Compassionate, reliable, and professional

Training and progression

You will be given a thorough induction into your role via one of our experienced mentors, while receiving both online and face to face training during this time and throughout your career at Adept Care. Our Training Manager and Dementia Manager are happy to arrange or support with any additional training you feel you may need to reach your full potential and fulfil your career ambitions.
