We’re looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and driven Hub Officer to join our team and help deliver meaningful activities and opportunities within our community hubs. About the role:
As a Hub Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our community work — delivering engaging activities, supporting residents, and helping people unlock opportunities that lead to better lives. Working closely with the Senior Hub Officer and the wider Moat Foundation team, you’ll play a key role in shaping programmes, supporting volunteers, and ensuring our hubs are vibrant, welcoming spaces where people feel inspired to take part and grow.
What you’ll be doing:
- Create and deliver high-impact activities for children, young people, adults, and older residents.
- Engage and support customers to build confidence, develop skills, and access new opportunities.
- Bring communities together by encouraging participation and helping people build meaningful connections.
- Collaborate with colleagues, volunteers, and local partners to develop exciting projects and initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve lives within your hub area through innovative programmes.
- Capture and share success stories - collecting data, photos, and case studies that showcase our impact.
- Support the development of our community offer, helping us continuously improve and grow.
What you’ll bring:
- We’re looking for someone who is approachable, motivated, and passionate about community work.
- A natural ability to connect with people of all ages, building trust and encouraging participation.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good IT and administrative skills, including Microsoft Office.
