Salary: £10,850 - £13,562 per annum plus a Car Allowance of £932 per annum (salary offered between this range dependent on experience).

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and driven Hub Officer to join our team and help deliver meaningful activities and opportunities within our community hubs. About the role:

As a Hub Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our community work — delivering engaging activities, supporting residents, and helping people unlock opportunities that lead to better lives. Working closely with the Senior Hub Officer and the wider Moat Foundation team, you’ll play a key role in shaping programmes, supporting volunteers, and ensuring our hubs are vibrant, welcoming spaces where people feel inspired to take part and grow.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Create and deliver high-impact activities for children, young people, adults, and older residents.
  • Engage and support customers to build confidence, develop skills, and access new opportunities.
  • Bring communities together by encouraging participation and helping people build meaningful connections.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, volunteers, and local partners to develop exciting projects and initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve lives within your hub area through innovative programmes.
  • Capture and share success stories - collecting data, photos, and case studies that showcase our impact.
  • Support the development of our community offer, helping us continuously improve and grow.

What you’ll bring:

  • A natural ability to connect with people of all ages, building trust and encouraging participation.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good IT and administrative skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, including with volunteers.
  • Creativity and initiative to design engaging, community-focused activities.
  • A genuine passion for helping people achieve positive change.
