Are you someone who thrives on building strong relationships, delivering high‑quality projects, and making a real impact? We are looking for an Investment Contract Manager to play a key role in delivering our complex work programmes.
What you will be doing:
- Take the lead on the day‑to‑day management of internal and external investment and refurbishment projects.
- Deliver complex work programmes with confidence, clarity, and a focus on great outcomes.
- Monitor contractor performance against KPIs and SLAs, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to high-quality standards.
- Build strong working relationships through regular contract review meetings with contractors and internal teams.
- Tackle disputes or non‑compliance issues proactively, finding solutions that keep things moving.
- Oversee contract budgets, spot opportunities for cost savings, and ensure value for money through effective procurement and benchmarking.
- Review and approve contractor invoices in line with contractual requirements.
- Keep on top of relevant legislation, building regulations, health and safety expectations, and industry best practice.
- Engage with customers to ensure they are happy with the work we deliver and involve them in shaping future services.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Support Contract Administrators by providing guidance and expertise.
- Prepare reports for internal boards and groups, keeping them informed of progress and outcomes.
- Identify and assess any operational risks, escalating emerging issues where needed.
