We are on the lookout for an Expenditure Control Officer, who can take ownership of monitoring utility costs across our communal areas and help keep things running smoothly for our customers. You’ll make sure electricity, gas and water bills are accurate and properly managed, and you’ll work with colleagues and customers to resolve any queries or unusual charges. It’s a role that supports transparency, good value for money and the overall quality of our services across our schemes and developments.
About the Role
You’ll take responsibility for monitoring consumption, coordinate meter readings, validate invoices and support month-end processes such as accruals, prepayments and journal preparation. Alongside this, you’ll help identify unusual energy use, work closely with neighbourhood and development teams, and be a reliable point of contact for staff and residents with questions about billing, usage or meter readings.
