Job Summary

Data Protection Coordinator at Moat. Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday–Friday. Salary: £35,215 – £44,018 per annum (dependent on experience). Contract: Permanent. Location: Hybrid between Mariner House, Dartford office and home.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented individual with a strong understanding of data protection principles and a passion for compliance, service improvement and high‑quality customer outcomes. Confident working with sensitive information, managing competing priorities, and communicative with a wide range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a first point of contact for data protection queries.
  • Manage Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and support the handling of personal data breaches.
  • Coordinate and administer a wide range of data protection activities.
  • Maintain key registers, support Data Protection Impact Assessments, and help embed best practice across the organisation.
  • Work collaboratively across teams to ensure robust processes are followed and compliance is clearly evidenced.

Essential Requirements

  • Knowledge of data protection legislation and data subject rights.
  • Experience supporting or administering DSAR processes.
  • Experience within the housing sector or a customer‑focused environment.
  • Strong experience engaging with customers and representatives.
  • Experience working in a small team to meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate complex or technical information clearly.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (particularly Word).
  • Experience using customer databases, data protection systems and SharePoint.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
