About the Role
As the Support Officer for Social Value at Moat Foundation, you will be central to ensuring that social value commitments translate into real benefits for our customers and communities. You’ll support procurement activity, contract management and stakeholder engagement, while leading on the collection, coordination and presentation of social value data and impact reporting.
Responsibilities
- Administrate our social value workstream through all stages of procurement to maximise customer benefit from supply chain commitments
- Provide administration and management support to supply chain contract management meetings, enhancing the delivery of social value outcomes
- Lead the administration of our supply chain social value forum, building strong, positive relationships across stakeholders and supporting innovative collaborations
- Lead on social value reporting, collating relevant data and evidence to demonstrate customer‑focused impact, and using communication tools to promote our achievements
- Support the development of effective partnerships with housing associations, industry professionals, funders, and project partners to identify new opportunities
- Provide insight, research and information that deepens our understanding of customers and communities, enhancing the Moat Foundation Delivery Plan
- Maintain local and practical knowledge of our Hubs and regions, providing hands‑on support where required
- Support local teams by collecting accurate data, photos, case studies and success stories that evidence the impact and development of the Hub offer
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and administrative skills, with an understanding of Social Value or the housing sector
- A passion for excellence and the ability to inspire community volunteers, colleagues and partners
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to confidently represent Moat Foundation to a variety of audiences
- Good numeracy, literacy and computer skills, with the ability to use MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and produce clear, concise reports informed by data
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, using initiative and creativity to tackle community issues with tailored solutions
- Experience in frontline customer service, stakeholder relationships, data collection and reporting
- Access to your own car and a valid driving licence
- A willingness to work outside of standard office hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet community needs
