About the role
As a People Services Advisor, you’ll play an important role in supporting our colleagues and managers with day-to-day HR advice and guidance. You’ll help ensure our people processes run smoothly, fairly, and consistently, while delivering a positive experience for our colleagues and supporting the wider organisation in providing great experience for our customers. Working as part of a friendly People team, you’ll have the opportunity to learn, contribute ideas, and make a real impact.
As our People Advisor you’ll:
- Act as a trusted first point of contact, providing HR advice and guidance to colleagues and managers on policies, procedures, and best practice
- Support employee relation matters with professionalism and empathy
- Manage people data accurately and confidentially
- Use and update data using our systems to inform HR decisions and delivery
- Contribute to continuous improvement of People Services processes
About you
- A team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years experience managing employee relations case work, from start to finish
- A good understanding of up to date and pending employment legislation, HR processes and employment practices
- Experienced in the use of HRIS and been involved in process improvement
- Confident communicator with a calm and approachable style
- Highly organised with great attention to detail
- Someone who enjoys being part of a team and pitching in to help others succeed
