Working at the intersection of offshore infrastructure, marine technology, and environmental intelligence, the company develops systems that help operators monitor and manage environmental impact in real time. This is a highly hands-on, foundational engineering role within an ambitious early-stage team.
The Role:
We are looking for an Instrumentation, Electronics, or Controls Engineer with experience in offshore, maritime, subsea, or offshore energy environments. This role is ideal for someone comfortable working across:
- instrumentation and sensing systems
- embedded or electronic hardware
- offshore deployment environments
- systems integration and field engineering
The successful candidate will combine strong technical capability with practical understanding of offshore industry operations and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and integrate sensing, instrumentation, and monitoring systems
- Support hardware deployment in offshore and marine environments
- Work across electronics, controls, telemetry, and systems integration
- Contribute to product development from prototype through deployment
- Interface with offshore operators, suppliers, and technical partners
- Help shape engineering processes within an early-stage startup
Required Experience:
- Background in instrumentation, electronics, controls, embedded systems, or related engineering discipline
- Experience within offshore energy, subsea, maritime, shipping, or offshore wind sectors
- Familiarity with offshore systems, sensors, telemetry, PLC/SCADA, or industrial monitoring environments
- Comfortable working in hands-on engineering environments
- Able to operate effectively within a fast-moving startup
Desirable:
- Offshore instrumentation or subsea systems experience
- Exposure to marine robotics, sensing, or environmental monitoring technologies
- Existing network within offshore/maritime industries
- Familiarity with industry events such as ADIPEC, Offshore Europe, OTC, etc.
- Experience working with offshore vendors, operators, or EPCs
