Built offshore systems before? Ready to build something that actually matters? If you’ve worked in oil & gas, offshore wind, subsea robotics, marine systems, or shipping — and want to take your engineering skills into a high-impact climate tech startup — this could be the role.
MNRecruit is partnering with Samudra Oceans, a venture-backed startup building next-generation technology for environmental compliance across offshore industries. This is an opportunity to own electronic and mechatronic engineering from the ground up, not just maintain legacy systems. You’ll work directly with founders, influence product direction, and help deploy real-world hardware into harsh offshore environments.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing and building electronic + mechatronic systems for offshore deployment
- Integrating sensors, telemetry, embedded electronics, PLCs, and control systems
- Taking products from prototype through to field deployment
- Building robust systems that can survive real marine environments

What Makes Someone Successful Here
You’ll probably thrive if you:
- Understand offshore operations and how projects get delivered commercially
- Have hands-on experience with offshore equipment and vendors
- Enjoy solving problems in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
- Like building things from scratch rather than inheriting old systems
- Want more ownership, autonomy, and influence
- Care about applying engineering to climate and ocean-related challenges
Bonus points if you already have a network across offshore energy, maritime, or subsea industries.
Why Join?
- Foundational engineering hire with real ownership
