About the Role
MNM Property Services Ltd is looking for an experienced Plumber / Gas Engineer to join our growing team.
The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for general domestic plumbing maintenance and repairs, working across occupied and void properties throughout London and the surrounding areas.
Alongside plumbing duties, the role will also include domestic gas work where required, including gas safety inspections, servicing and repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out a wide range of domestic plumbing repairs and maintenance as well as gas works.
- Diagnosing and repairing leaks, taps, toilets, pipework, showers and other plumbing systems.
- Repairing and replacing plumbing fixtures and fittings.
- Identifying plumbing faults and completing repairs safely and efficiently.
- Carrying out responsive repairs within occupied residential properties.
- Undertaking domestic gas safety inspections and completing CP12 certificates where required.
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing domestic gas appliances.
- Completing job reports, certificates and other required documentation accurately.
- Communicating professionally with residents, clients and office staff.
- Following Gas Safe, health and safety, and company procedures.
- Looking after the company vehicle, equipment and materials provided.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as a domestic maintenance Plumber / Gas Engineer.
- Excellent knowledge of domestic plumbing systems, maintenance and repairs.
- Current domestic Gas Safe qualifications.
- Relevant ACS qualifications, including CCN1 and CENWAT or equivalent.
- Previous experience carrying out gas servicing and repairs.
- Fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
- Full UK manual driving licence.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional, reliable and able to work independently.
- Good customer-service skills and confidence working in occupied properties.
- Right to work in the UK.
