Choice Interiors are bespoke cabinet makers, creating beautiful kitchens, bedroom cabinetry and other custom furniture. Established in 1987, we are renowned for our personal service, design skills and craftsmanship. Each cabinet is custom made and individually constructed by skilled craftsmen, who combine time honoured methods with the highest quality materials to produce kitchens and freestanding furniture which are unsurpassed in quality, design and attention to detail.
We are a small business environment with manufacturing facilities, looking for an experienced bookkeeper to manage the finance side of things and monthly payroll as well as any ad hoc general administrative tasks.

Main Duties / Responsibilities
Processing sales invoices, receipts and payments
Completing VAT returns
Checking/reconciling company bank statements
Dealing with financial paperwork and statutory filing
Maintaining company ledgers
Appropriately coding payables to prepare them for the accountant\βs input later
Maintaining petty cash
Recording any inconsistencies to help the external Accountant to reconcile inaccuracies
Developing monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheets
Prepare and process monthly payroll for 12 employees (Sage)
Prepare and process CIS submissions for 2 regular sub-contractors
Managing employee expense claims
Helping the Accountant with administrative duties and preparing yearly accounts
Providing general administrative support as needed
Additional bookkeeping duties as designated by management
Requirements And Skills
Demonstrable bookkeeping experience
Sage Accounts And Sage Payroll Experience Is Essential
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
AAT qualified would be advantageous but not essential
Proficiency in English, Maths and Microsoft Office
Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Highly organised
