Role Overview
MNK International is seeking a Junior Admin Broker to provide structured administrative, analytical, and operational support to the Broking team throughout the insurance placement and servicing lifecycle. The role involves supporting Brokers and Senior Brokers in the preparation, processing, and maintenance of insurance policies, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to Lloyd’s and Company Market standards. This position is designed as an entry-level role for candidates seeking to build a professional career within insurance broking. The role offers exposure to commercial and specialty insurance markets and provides defined progression opportunities into technical or client-facing broking roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to Brokers and Senior Brokers
- Assist in the preparation, checking, and issuance of insurance documentation in accordance with Lloyd’s and Company Market requirements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of policies, endorsements, renewals, premiums, and mid-term adjustments
- Support the management of the annual insurance cycle, including new business and renewal activity
- Ensure documentation is filed and maintained in accordance with Company procedures and regulatory standards
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by senior management
New Business and Renewal Support
- Assist with the preparation of new business and renewal submissions
- Support the collection and collation of client and risk information
- Assist with the preparation of market presentations and submission packs
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, insurers, and underwriters to obtain required information in a timely manner
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Utilise Microsoft Excel to analyse policy and premium payment data
- Support the monitoring and reporting of premiums and accounts
- Prepare clear, accurate, and professional PowerPoint presentations for internal and external use
Market Knowledge and Compliance
- Develop an understanding of the insurance market, including commercial and specialty risks
- Gain working knowledge of documentation standards within Lloyd’s and Company Markets
- Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with Company procedures, regulatory requirements, and confidentiality obligations
- Maintain awareness of insurance market developments through ongoing learning
