- Supporting strategic initiatives, projects, and business priorities on behalf of the Managing Director
- Managing travel arrangements, expenses, and other executive administration requirements
- Liaising closely with broking, operations, finance, compliance, and other support functions
- Assisting with operational workload as required, including support for placement activity, documentation, market submissions, and general reinsurance administration
- Supporting the smooth coordination of client, market, and internal communications
- Handling confidential and commercially sensitive information with discretion
- Building strong working relationships across the business and with key external partners
- Performing other duties and responsibilities as reasonably required by the Managing Director and the business.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience supporting a Managing Director, CEO, Partner, or other senior executive
- Strong understanding of the London Insurance Market
- Experience gained within a broker, reinsurer, insurer, MGA, or Lloyd's market organisation
- Practical knowledge of reinsurance placement procedures and associated operational processes
- Previous exposure to broking support, underwriting support, operations, or placement administration would be highly desirable
- Ability to balance executive support responsibilities with operational and business-facing activities
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working independently
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of insurance market dynamics
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and confidence working across multiple systems
- A collaborative approach and willingness to support operational activities when business priorities require
What's on Offer
