MNK Group is seeking an experienced Regulatory Affairs Manager to support our ongoing commitment to robust regulatory governance, clear policy standards, and effective compliance oversight.

This role will play an important part in ensuring MNK remains aligned with evolving regulatory expectations, with a particular focus on FCA developments, regulatory policy interpretation, horizon scanning, and internal policy governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring relevant FCA regulatory developments and conducting structured horizon scanning.
  • Translating regulatory change into clear, actionable internal requirements.
  • Identifying policy, framework, and process gaps, and supporting appropriate updates.
  • Producing clear regulatory interpretation statements and maintaining a strong audit trail.
  • Coordinating annual and ad hoc updates to compliance policies, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations.
  • Managing contributor inputs, version control, documentation standards, and governance review cycles.
  • Reviewing and refining compliance policies to ensure clarity, coherence, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for policy interpretation across MNK.
  • Coordinating regulatory engagement, including oversight and completion of regulatory returns.

About you

  • Strong knowledge of FCA Handbook requirements relevant to the insurance broker model.
  • A minimum of five years' experience in regulatory policy, regulatory reporting, or compliance, preferably within an insurance broking environment.
  • Experience drafting or contributing to compliance policies.
  • A good understanding of the insurance broker model, wholesale insurance broking, and emerging regulatory risks.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate UK regulatory requirements into practical business guidance.
  • Excellent internal and external stakeholder management skills.
