You will be responsible for maintaining and challenging risk registers, supporting the Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process, monitoring Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), analysing risk events and breaches, and performing stress testing, scenario analysis, and targeted risk reviews. This role offers broad exposure across the business, providing valuable insight into underwriting, operational, financial, compliance, and strategic risks while contributing directly to risk-based decision-making at a Group level.

  • Maintain risk taxonomies, appetite metrics, policies, procedures, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate and enhance the Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process across Group entities.
  • Challenge the quality and completeness of risk and control assessments conducted by first-line teams.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date risk registers, ensuring risks, controls, actions, and ownership responsibilities are clearly documented.
Risk Monitoring & Analysis
  • Monitor and analyse risk exposures across the Group against approved risk appetite and tolerance levels.
  • Investigate material changes in the risk profile and escalate concerns appropriately.
  • Design, monitor, and analyse Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and associated risk trends.
  • Investigate breaches, adverse trends, threshold exceedances, and emerging risk themes.
  • Analyse risk events, incidents, near misses, and control failures to identify root causes and recurring issues.
  • Conduct stress testing, scenario analysis, reverse stress testing, and emerging risk assessments.
  • Deliver targeted risk assessments and deep-dive reviews across key risk areas, including:
    • Underwriting Risk
    • Reserving Risk
    • Credit Risk
    • Market Risk
    • Liquidity Risk
    • Operational Risk
    • Conduct Risk
    • Outsourcing & Third-Party Risk
Risk Reporting
  • Produce clear, insightful, and decision-useful risk reporting for senior management and governance committees.
  • Prepare risk dashboards, management information, and risk profile reporting.
  • Provide robust and well-supported risk analysis for Risk Committees and other governance forums.
  • Monitor and report on management actions arising from risk reviews, assurance activities, incidents, and risk events through to completion.
  • Support second-line assurance reviews and thematic risk assessments.
  • Monitor industry, market, and regulatory developments to assess potential impacts on MNK Group's risk profile.
  • Support the enhancement of risk tools, dashboards, analytics, and management reporting capabilities.
  • Promote continuous improvement of risk management practices across the organisation.
