We are looking for a junior analyst to join the Global Markets Team. We deliver real-time analysis and insight on the global economy and financial markets to a diverse client base that includes traders, portfolio managers, economists, and strategists.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is analytical, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and has an interest in economics, finance, political risk, or policy. We are a rapidly expanding team of experienced economists, FX/Fixed Income/Credit/Commodity Analysts and former traders drawn from the investing banking, hedge fund and macro research industries.
The principal responsibilities of this position include:
- European economic data coverage and analysis.
- Data entry and database management.
- In-depth analytical articles aimed at top tier financial market clients.
- Discussing data with key clients.
Essential requirements for this role:
- Minimum: 2:1 undergraduate degree.
- Highly numerate with clear and concise presentation skills.
- Sharp eye for detail and accuracy are essential.
- Ability to use initiative in approaching data analysis tasks.
- Willingness to learn independently.
- Clear interest in economics and finance.
