About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient AI Technical Developer to join our team, reporting directly to the Head of AI Strategy. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who enjoys working independently with a strong foundation in technology and a genuine passion for artificial intelligence to play a meaningful role in shaping how AI is adopted and implemented across the business.

The successful candidate will sit at the intersection of technology and commercial strategy, working cross‑functionally to identify, evaluate, develop and deploy AI initiatives that drive tangible value across the organisation. This role is suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment and brings both technical rigour and a natural sense of urgency to their work.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and demo emerging AI products and tools, assessing their relevance and applicability to specific business use cases across sales and other departments.
• Engage with stakeholders across multiple functions to identify and prioritise AI initiatives with the greatest potential business impact.
• Collate, track, and report on the progress and development of AI initiatives, presenting findings clearly to the Director of Sales Strategy and, where appropriate, the CEO.
• Liaise with the technology team to support the technical scoping and implementation of AI solutions, both off‑the‑shelf and bespoke.
• Contribute to the development of robust business cases for the adoption of new AI tools and technologies.
• Stay current with developments in the AI landscape, proactively surfacing relevant innovations and opportunities.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Development, or a closely related discipline.
• A minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in a technically focused role, with a track‑record of developing solutions independently.
• A solid understanding of how artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies work in practice.
• Demonstrable experience working on relevant projects, with examples to discuss at interview.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
• A proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset with a genuine enthusiasm for AI and its commercial applications.
• Comfortable working in a sociable, fast‑paced environment with multiple concurrent priorities.
