We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join our quality team in a precision manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will assist in the management of the company’s quality processes to ensure paperwork and components are produced to company specifications.

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Quality Engineer:

  • Investigate internal nonconformities and customer reject notes (CRNs)
  • Conduct CRN enquiries and root cause investigations
  • Monitor adherence to the Quality Management System (QMS) and established quality procedures
  • Conduct customer audits
  • Investigate goods received issues and supplier nonconformities
  • Support the Quality Manager with Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives

Essential Requirements for the Senior Quality Engineer:

  • Proven experience investigating nonconformities
  • Knowledge of CRN investigations and resolution processes
  • Experience conducting customer audits
  • Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and quality standards
  • Ability to drive quality improvements and implement best practices on the shopfloor
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience within precision manufacturing or engineering environments
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ability to communicate quality standards effectively to production teams
  • Experience working with ERP systems for NCR logging
