The Role
The CNC Turner vacancy is a hands‑on CNC role for an experienced machinist who enjoys technical, low‑volume/high‑value work.
Responsibilities:
- Set and operate CNC turning machines, including Mazak and Doosan models.
- Work from engineering drawings to achieve tight tolerances.
- Inspect own work using precision measuring equipment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and quality standards.
- Collaborate with a skilled, supportive shop‑floor team.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC machinist/ setter within a precision manufacturing business.
- Experience with Fanuc/Mazatrol controls.
- Experience machining large components (we manufacture parts up to 8 metres in length and 800 mm in diameter).
- Experience working with exotic materials such as Inconel or Duplex.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T symbols.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality.
- Reliability and a team‑focused approach are required for the CNC Turner role.
