The CNC Setter Role
Working on the night shift, you’ll be responsible for setting and running CNC machines to produce complex, high-spec components.
- Set and operate CNC machines (Turning or Mill/Turn) including Mazak and Doosan Machines.
- Work from engineering drawings to tight tolerances.
- Inspect your own work using precision measuring equipment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and quality standards.
- Work as part of a skilled, supportive shopfloor team.

What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist/Setter within a precision manufacturing business.
- Experience with Fanuc/Mazatrol/Heidenhain controls.
- Experience machining large components (up to 7 metres in length x 800mm diameter).
- Experience working with exotic materials including Inconel or Duplex is required for the CNC Setter role.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings as well as GD.
