We are looking for a reliable and motivated Dispatch Operative to join our busy warehouse team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are accurately picked, packed, checked and dispatched on time while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service.

Key Responsibilities for the Dispatch Operator role;

  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
  • Accurately check products against dispatch documentation.
  • Label and package goods to company standards.
  • Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.
  • Operate FLT and other warehouse machinery.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and report any discrepancies.
  • Keep the warehouse and dispatch area clean, organised, and safe.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures.
  • Work closely with warehouse, production, and customer service teams to meet dispatch deadlines.

For the Dispatch Operator ideal candidate will have

  • Previous warehouse or dispatch experience.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • The ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • IT skills for scanning or warehouse management systems.
  • A forklift licence (counterbalance)
