Due to continued growth, MNB Precision are now recruiting for CNC Machinists to join the business. Established over 30 years ago, MNB Precision is a medium sized company specialising in world-class CNC Precision Engineering. Our core business is the production of precision engineered components, predominantly providing CNC Precision Engineering Services to the Oil & Gas Industry.
As a specialist engineering company, we have developed a reputation for tackling difficult parts in exotic materials. Our machine shop can be found working with materials such as Inconel, Beryllium, Copper, and a range of non-magnetic stainless steels. We offer a range of precision engineering services and consistently machine everything from components that are several metres in length to components with very tight tolerances.
Role responsibilities:
- You will be setting and operating various CNC machines including Doosan, Mazak, Hartford and SMX using Fanuc, Heidenhain and Mazak control systems.
- You will be working with exotic metals such as Inconel and Duplex to assist in the production of Oil & Gas components.
- You will be inspecting your own work using various measurement equipment including verniers and calipers.
Role requirements:
- You will be an experienced Machinist with a solid background in setting and operating CNC machines such as Mazak, Doosan, Hartford and SMX.
- You will have experience working with exotic metals including Inconel and Duplex, ideally within the Oil & Gas industry.
- You will have previously worked to tight tolerances and machined large parts (up to 7 metres).
- You will have experience quality checking your own work and using various measurement equipment including verniers and calipers.
