The Role

The CNC Machinist vacancy is a hands‑on CNC role for an experienced machinist who enjoys technical, low‑volume/high‑value work. For the role of CNC Machinist, you will:

  • Set and operate Mazak machines including Mazak Integrex and Mazak Quick Turn
  • Work from engineering drawings to tight tolerances
  • Inspect your own work using precision measuring equipment
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and quality standards
  • Work as part of a skilled, supportive shopfloor team

What we're looking for as a CNC Machinist:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, working with Mazak machines including Mazak Integrex and Mazak Quick Turn
  • Experience with Mazatrol controls
  • Experience machining large components (MNB Precision have anything up to 8 metres in length x 800mm diameter)
  • Experience working with exotic materials including Inconel or Duplex.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings as well as GD&T symbols.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality
  • A reliable, team‑focused approach is required for the CNC Machinist role.
