CNC Setter - Turning Coventry Day Shift: 08:30am – 17:00pm + overtime Hours: 40 hours per week, full time Permanent position £18.50 - £22.00 per hour + overtime rates

The Role The CNC Setter vacancy is a hands-on CNC role for an experienced machinist who enjoys technical, low-volume/high-value work. For the role of CNC Setter, you will:

  • Set and operate CNC machines (Turning) including Mazak and Doosan Machines.
  • Work from engineering drawings to tight tolerances.
  • Inspect your own work using precision measuring equipment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and quality standards.
  • Work as part of a skilled, supportive shopfloor team.

What we're looking for as a CNC Setter:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist/Setter within a precision manufacturing business.
  • Experience with Fanuc/Mazatrol controls.
  • Experience machining large components (MNB Precision have anything up to 8 metres in length x 800mm diameter).
  • Experience working with exotic materials including Inconel or Duplex.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings as well as GD&T symbols.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality.
  • A reliable, team-focused approach is required for the CNC Machinist role.
